Anniversary Gifts
Each milestone has a tradition. Here's what that tradition looks like when you're buying direct from the manufacturer.
By Milestone
Traditional: gold. These are both in 14K solid gold. Appropriate in scale — meaningful without the pressure of a bigger milestone.
Traditional gift is sapphire, but most people prefer diamonds at this milestone. The 1ct stud or 3ct tennis bracelet reads as a genuine upgrade — not a placeholder.
This is the diamond anniversary. Not because of marketing — it's been the traditional 10th gift for over a century. If there's one year to do something significant, it's this one. The tennis bracelet, an eternity band, or 2ct studs are all appropriate choices here.
Traditional: silver. In practice, this is the milestone where the ring upgrade conversation becomes genuinely meaningful. The original engagement ring reflects what you could afford 25 years ago. The 25th is when you fix that.
From Our Founder
The upgrade conversation comes up a lot around the 10th and 25th anniversaries. The original ring was usually bought on a budget — early career, student loans, first apartment. It was the right ring for that moment.
Twenty years later, that budget constraint no longer applies. And because we source direct from SEEPZ manufacturers, a 2ct or 3ct stone that would have been completely out of reach in 2004 is now an honest conversation.
If you want help thinking through a ring upgrade — size, setting, stone, all of it — email me directly. I'll tell you exactly what I'd buy and why, with no pressure to buy anything at all.

Diamond. The 10th anniversary is the traditional diamond anniversary — which is why it's the one where the upgrade conversation actually makes sense. A tennis bracelet, eternity band, or 2ct studs are all appropriate and meaningful.
Traditional gift is gold. We'd suggest 0.5ct studs ($240) or the solitaire pendant ($190) — both in 14K gold, both well within the traditional spirit of the milestone.
Yes — it's one of the more common and appreciated gifts at these milestones. The original engagement ring often reflects what was affordable at the time. A 20-year upgrade is a genuine statement. Email contact@studsdirect.com if you want help with this.
Size and coverage. The 3ct ($1,200) is elegant, wearable daily, covers roughly half the wrist. The 5ct ($1,800) makes a stronger visual statement — more coverage, larger individual stones. Both are 14K gold, IGI diamonds.
Not currently on the standard pieces. For custom engraving or personalized pieces — especially for a milestone anniversary — email contact@studsdirect.com and we'll source what you're looking for.
