The VVS Collection · Stud Earrings
20 years of SEEPZ procurement. Every pair we sell goes through the same sourcing pipeline — manufacturer to door, no middlemen, no markup chain. VVS+ clarity is a floor, not an upsell.
Pick the silhouette. The specs don't change — clarity, color, cert, gold, source. All identical.
Lower-profile. Lays close to the lobe.
The cleaner silhouette. Three prongs hold the diamond at a wider angle — sits flatter, shows more face. Classic for everyday wear and smaller lobes.
Higher crown. More light return. More presence.
Four prongs raise the diamond slightly off the lobe — you get more scintillation when the light hits it. The setting you notice. The one people ask about.
The VVS Guarantee
The VVS Guarantee is non-negotiable. We don't offer a "good, better, best" tier structure. If it ships from us, it meets the floor — no downgrades, no surprise upgrades you have to pay extra for. These are the specs, and every pair hits them.
Same spec, different price. Competitor prices approximate — sourced May 2026, verified at retailer site. Links included.

Not a QA team. Not a checklist. Mark — the founder with 20 years of SEEPZ procurement experience — looks at the stones. If a pair doesn't clear his standard, it doesn't ship. That's the entirety of the quality promise: one person's eye, applied to every order.
This is what "direct from SEEPZ" actually means in practice. Not just a sourcing story. A physical review, at the source, before the box closes.
The sourcing story →Depends on the setting. The Martini (3-prong) sits lower and is less prone to flipping because the center of gravity is closer to the lobe. The TS4P (4-prong) has a slightly higher crown — more visible, but more likely to shift on thin lobes. Fix: butterfly backs are included, but we also recommend silicone stoppers for active wear. Both are available.
The carat weight listed (1ct, 1.5ct, 2ct, 3ct) is the total weight for the pair — meaning each earring is half. So a "2ct pair" means 1ct per ear. This is the standard in the industry. We state it explicitly because some retailers bury the per-ear weight in the fine print. We don't.
No — they come with standard butterfly (push) backs, which are more comfortable for daily wear and easier to put on and take off than screw-backs. Screw-backs are more secure for children and high-activity lifestyles, but most adults find them inconvenient. If you need screw-backs specifically, contact us before ordering.
These studs are set in 14K solid gold — yellow, white, or rose. 14K white gold does contain a small amount of nickel as an alloy hardener. If you have a documented nickel allergy, 14K yellow gold or 14K rose gold is the better choice (both are nickel-free in our pieces). Plated or vermeil settings are not offered — solid gold only.
Yes. Every pair ships with an IGI grading report — one per diamond. The certificate includes the stone's exact clarity, color, cut grade, and carat weight. You can verify the report number directly at igi.org. There is no digital-only certificate; you receive a physical document.
30-day returns on unworn pieces. If you receive the pair and the studs don't match the spec on the certificate, that's a problem we will fix — full replacement, no argument. Standard returns for "changed my mind" require the piece to be unworn and in original packaging. Reach out to contact@studsdirect.com.
