VRAI grades their own diamonds with a VRAI certificate — not independent IGI or GIA. When you buy VRAI 1ct studs at $920, the certification confirming quality comes from the same company selling it. StudsDirect at $963 includes IGI certification — a completely independent third-party gemological lab. Independent verification means the grade was assigned by someone with no stake in the sale.
